Me in a Lotus Exige 260R Cup!
This morning (@ 14.00h...), a friend called me to say there were 50 lotus cars parked in Woumen...
So, I jumped in my car, with the Nikon... and my evil white dog!
2 minutes later, I saw an overload of yellow, orange, red, green, black, white and silver!
A few Lotus Elise S1's, S2's, Elise 111R, Elise 135 sport, Elise supercharged, some cool oldies (Esprit, Esprit S4, Esprit V8, Excel S.E., Elan S,) and the Exige's . (Exige, Exige S)
O, and one grey well-known Lancer Evo IX....
But there was more. The Lotus 340R is one hell of a trackcar. Where did Ariel Atom and KTM got their inspiration, you think? But the Lotus is really hardcore, what a cool racer is this!
Two times brandnew Lotus Europa! Nice car, the back looks a bit like a Chrysler Crossfire, but hey, it still says Lotus on the back...
Story of the day : The most powerful Lotus Exige ever made, the Exige 260R Cup . (260hp!) And as you can see on the first picture : a flat tire! Bad news when you drive a car like this, 'cause the Lotus Exige is so big, ahum, there isn't any place for a spare tire...
Plan A : The special foam. Take the spraycan with the foam and 'pump' up the jam, euhm.. tire.
Take a drive to check if everything is alright... Nope, the foam escaped!
Plan B : Let's go to Garage Geldof, a well-know garage for supercars, and we ask the friendly Christian to fix it... That worked ok! And lucky me, I had to show directions to the garage, in the 260R Cup! What an awesome car, truly unbelievable....
